Project Overview
1 Corporate Avenue isadjacent to the world-known Shanghai Xintiandias well as the artificial Taiping Lake and bordered withthe reputedHuihai Road CBD. The property consists of two modern office buildings with the GFAof about 78,000m2. Tower A is a 25-storey office building equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and telecom system while reserving the largest column-free space of the city. This building restores elegant decoration style of Shanghai in 1930s and stands as a new landmark of local A-class office buildings.
Effect of Energy Efficiency
After evaluating effect of energy efficiency in Tower A of 1 Corporate Avenuethrough UPPC® energy efficiency control system,the conclusion shows UPPC® optimization control differs from regular control of chiller plant group by introducing active overall optimized control to maximize general chiller plant efficiency and minimize gross energy consumption.
Testing report from Shanghai Research Institute of Building Sciences,a third-party testing authority, shows that the overall efficiency of chiller plants in Corporate Avenuehas raised by 26.1% and the annual electricity saving is estimated to be 800,000~1,000,000kWh, equivalent to saving 320~400t of standard coal and reducing 798~997t of carbon dioxide emission each year.
